Usear Agent란
User Agent는 웹을 요청하는 사용자의 정보를 담고 있는 Request Header 종류 중 하나이다.
개발자도구(F12)를 통해 Headers 에서 내 user-agent를 확인할 수 있다.
나는 크롬을 통해 접속해서, user-agent를 보면 Chrome이 들어가있는 걸 확인할 수 있다. (뒤에 숫자는 버전임)
Mozilla 뒤는 운영체제(OS)를 나타낸다. Windows 10 환경임을 알 수 있다.
리눅스나 다른 운영체제로 접속할 시, 해당 정보가 바뀐다.
웹 사이트에서는 User Agent로 사용자 정보를 확인하고, 이를 통해 접속을 제한하기도 한다.
어떤 디바이스(PC, 모바일 등)에서 어떤 브라우저(Chrome, Safari, FireFox)로 방문했는지 알 수 있기 때문이다.
